Voxengo Boogex

Boogex combines guitar-amplifier-style processing with cabinet impulse-response facilities. It is useful for direct guitar sounds and creative distortion treatments within a workstation. Its included signal stages can form more of a complete chain than a pedal-only effect. Adjust the input and cabinet response deliberately, and compare both clean and driven passages when settling on a recording tone.

For direct recording, check interface input gain and monitoring latency before evaluating the sound. A pedal or amplifier processor may still need separate cabinet processing, depending on the signal chain.
