Primer 2
By Audible Genius
Primer is a subtractive synthesizer also used in the Syntorial teaching environment. It is useful for learning oscillator, filter and envelope relationships while retaining a playable instrument. The free synthesizer should be distinguished from the paid course. Check the official download for the desired desktop or mobile edition rather than assuming every course feature comes with the instrument.
For a reusable production setup, save the patch with the session and note any external content it depends on. This makes it easier to reopen the arrangement on another machine.
Desktop download links require email registration. The iPad edition is a separate free app; the paid Syntorial course is not included.
