epicVerb mkII
By Variety Of Sound
epicVerb is an algorithmic reverb from Variety Of Sound’s freeware collection. It is useful for room-like ambience and more pronounced effect tails in compatible Windows hosts. Its age and distribution format make compatibility checks important. Use the official download and keep a rendered reference when it forms a central part of a production that must be reopened in the future.
A send-and-return setup makes it easy to balance the space independently from the source. Check exposed pauses and dense passages, where the same decay can have very different effects on clarity.
