DrumTraqs
By Full Bucket Music
DrumTraqs recreates the sample-based character of a classic Drumtraks-style drum machine. It is useful for programming vintage electronic rhythms without loading a general-purpose sampler. The focused voice selection encourages arrangement through pattern, velocity and processing. Treat it as a particular drum-machine palette rather than a comprehensive acoustic kit, and build the surrounding mix around its distinctive transients.
When replacing another drum instrument, check note mapping and velocity response before judging the arrangement. The same MIDI pattern can produce a different balance when voices and articulations move between notes.
