Beeper inserts intermittent tones, noise or silence into an audio stream. It is useful for preparing deliberately marked demonstration audio or creating reference interruptions in a test workflow. It does not secure ownership or prevent every form of reuse. Keep an unmodified master separately, and ensure that the marked file is clearly identified before it enters a delivery or publication process.
Check the selected input, output and monitoring path before beginning important work. A short test file can reveal routing or format problems that are not obvious from a meter alone.
