TDR Kotelnikov
By Tokyo Dawn Labs
TDR Kotelnikov is a wideband dynamics processor designed for controlled compression in demanding mix and mastering work. It is useful when the aim is managing level movement while retaining the character of the source. Its detector and release behavior provide more control than a basic compressor. The free edition is distinct from the paid Gentleman’s Edition.
Set timing against the performance and compare at similar output level. Listen to attack, sustain and pauses, since a level-control change can alter the musical phrasing as well as peak readings.
