MiniSpillage

By AudioSpillage

MiniSpillage is a free drum-synthesis instrument for compatible Mac Audio Unit hosts. It is useful for creating electronic percussion rather than loading an acoustic sample library. Its focused set of synthesis models encourages designing a coherent small kit. The free instrument is distinct from the larger commercial DrumSpillage product, and current operating-system compatibility should be checked before installation.

When replacing another drum instrument, check note mapping and velocity response before judging the arrangement. The same MIDI pattern can produce a different balance when voices and articulations move between notes.
