Airwindows Baxandall

Baxandall provides broad bass-and-treble shaping in Airwindows’ minimal processing style. It is useful for overall tonal balance rather than removing a narrow resonance. Wide curves can influence a large part of the spectrum, so begin with small adjustments. Level-matched listening helps when a brighter or fuller setting also makes the source seem more immediately prominent.

Judge tonal changes with the part playing in the arrangement. Matching the bypass and processed listening levels helps avoid choosing a setting simply because it sounds louder or brighter.
