FoxDot
By FoxDot Contributors
FoxDot offers a Python-oriented approach to live-coded music with pattern objects and performance commands. It is useful for musicians who want to build rhythmic and melodic systems through text while sound continues. SuperCollider supplies the synthesis engine in the documented workflow. A working installation therefore includes both the coding environment and the audio server, with their versions and startup order recorded for a dependable performance.
Rehearse the complete routing and save a dependable starting configuration. Test controller assignments and recovery from an interrupted audio device before making the software part of a live performance.
Requires Python and SuperCollider in the documented setup. Follow project compatibility instructions; the code editor alone does not produce audio.
