Open Stage Control

Open Stage Control creates customizable remote-control interfaces for audio and multimedia systems. It is useful for building touch layouts that send control messages to instruments, effects or performance software. The server and browser client are parts of the same setup. It does not produce sound by itself; mapping, network configuration and the receiving application’s behavior determine the finished control system.

MIDI carries performance instructions rather than recorded sound. Confirm the receiving instrument, channel assignments and note mapping when exchanging a file or moving the setup to another computer.
