PaulXStretch
By Sonosaurus
PaulXStretch stretches recorded audio into long, evolving textures using spectral processing. It is useful for turning short musical fragments, field recordings or sustained notes into ambient material. Its creative purpose differs from transparent tempo correction: extreme duration changes can become part of the sound. Rendered results can be brought back into a workstation for arrangement and further editing.
Save intermediate versions while experimenting, especially before a large routing or parameter change. Keeping the original source alongside a rendered result makes later arrangement and revision much easier.
